Grave Marking Ceremony in Sumterville
On May 17, 2026, GJAE compatriots Allen Herrod and Gary Backus participated as members of the Alabama Society Sons of the American Revolution Color Guard in a grave-marking ceremony honoring Revolutionary War Patriots John Holland and Randle Jackson at the Old Methodist Cemetery in Sumterville.
"George Washington" at the Prattville Library
On April 31st 2026, Compatriot Rick Wells, in the guise of George Washington, represented the Gen. John Archer Elmore Chapter and delivered an engaging presentation at the Prattville Library. The program was presented to STEAM students from various Prattville-area schools on a day honoring the anniversary of First Inaugural Address of George Washington.
